St. Patrick Day's inspired nails tutorial

A friend of mine was having a St.Patrick's Day BBQ-party at her house on 17th so I decided to do some green bakeries and paint green nails. Although I'm not that good, I've always enjoyed paining nails and being creative with them. I never understood the point of going to nails salon since nails-DIY was the fun in itself for me.

This pattern is really simple to create and the nails look really nice and feminine from a distance even though it may look a bit messy in the photo.  I had compliments from everyone at the party!

Only two nails colours are required for this pattern. And you guessed it right: Green and white. I used the following nail polishes for mine. You do need a small-tipped paint brush for the white colour!
(For some reason, my camera failed to captured the greenness from my other nail polish so I'm not gonna bother putting the picture)
Let's get started!
Step1: I painted all my nails with green colour as a base.
(Ignore the first two fingers, I only remembered to take the picture half-way through!)

Step2: With a small-tipped brush, I made two strikes like so:

Step3: I then drew a heart by joining up those two strikes.

Step4: Once the heart shape has been outlined, I just filled the heart with more white paint. I doesn't have to be perfect, I only did two strokes inside!

Step5: I drew the heart again (90 degree) next to the first heart by repeating step 2-4.

Step6: I drew the third heart opposite the second one by repeating step 2-4.

Step 7: Finally, I drew a curve from the middle of second and third heart to a corner of your nail. You can draw whichever direction you prefer, I just happened to draw towards my right corner.

Tadaaa... your nails are ready!

Wasn't that simple? If you haven't tried any nails art, I definitely recommend you to try it. It is so much fun! You can use this pattern for any other two colours that you like, as long as the colours are not too similar to each other! If you're creative, you can even use three or four colours to liven up!

I love reading your comment and receiving constructive feedback so feel free to leave a comment! Let me know if you have any question regarding this nail tutorial or suggestion for next one.
